I will be heading to the polls in an attempt to try and rid us of the Evil that is Mr Harper. Sadly I live in a super conservative place (we actually have someone running as part of the Christian Heritage Party - and he gets votes) so not sure if we can make it happen but a girl can dream huh? I really, really, really hope that the early polls will scare the hell out of people and they will vote more strategically. I am looking forward to staying up late and watching with baited breath as the counts come in. On Oct. 1, someone flipped a switch and leaves started to change colors and drift off of the trees. This weekend, though, as I mowed the yard, I watched as it went from a slow drift to a much heavier swirl. And today, it's forecasted to be 85 deg. So really- can't it just be actual fall already? It's still a couple of weeks before the leaves will really, REALLY fall, but soon- very soon. Sounds like your thanksgiving was lovely.
